What Synapse9 is

A strategy builder that runs in your browser and in the Android app. It does not place trades, hold funds or connect to a broker.

Data that stays on your device

Strategies, custom blocks, templates, run history, settings, downloaded price history and terminal workspace files are stored locally in the browser (or app) storage. API keys you enter yourself are stored on your device. In the browser, requests may pass through our server proxy, which forwards the key to the provider for authentication; keys are excluded from AI message content. Clearing site data or using Settings > Privacy > Delete all local data removes them.

Data we hold when you create an account

• Account data: email address, a password hash (never the password), plan and billing status.
• Cloud sync: the projects you sync. Hosted accounts may sync automatically after sign-in.
• Managed AI: daily usage counts, short preference notes used as memory, and a temporary response cache. You can inspect or clear AI memory from your account.
• Server logs: IP address, time and request path, kept for security and reliability.

Data sent to third parties, only when you use a feature

• Payments. Checkout is handled by our payment provider, which receives the details you enter. We receive the subscription status, not your card number.
• Managed AI (Kether gateway). Your message, a text description of the open strategy and tool results are sent to our gateway and onward to an AI model provider. Choosing your own provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, OpenRouter or a custom address) sends the same data to that provider under its own terms.
• Market data. Symbol searches and price downloads go to Yahoo Finance or Binance and reveal your IP address and the request.
• AI web research. Search words the AI chooses go to DuckDuckGo or Wikipedia.

Before the first AI request the app asks for your consent and you can switch AI off in Settings.

Optional Future Lab usage

Usage sharing is off by default. If you enable Settings > Privacy > Share Future Lab usage, we receive module names, counts, timings and short diagnostic labels associated with your account for up to 90 days. Strategy code is excluded. You can switch this off at any time; account deletion erases these events. Plan run counters are separate and used to enforce limits.

What we do not do

No advertising, no sale of personal data, no third-party analytics trackers on this site.

Retention and your rights

We keep account data while your account exists and delete it on request, subject to legal and accounting duties for payment records. You may ask for access, correction, export or deletion at support@kether.space. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (for example under GDPR) and may complain to your data-protection authority.

Security

Connections use HTTPS; passwords are hashed; admin access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The service is not directed at children.
